Mangrove Tapestry Series  - Megan Forward 
I’m drawn to the vibrant tapestry of life within the mangroves. The ebb and flow of tides, the intricate dance of crabs in and out of the root systems, and the nurturing role of mangroves as an estuary nursery. I love to head out for a day or two, sketching and painting from nature, and soaking in the serenity of nature’s rhythms, The resilience of mangroves and their role as sea nurseries for fish, crustacean and bird life – holding everything together in a dynamic ecosystem. And I just love the gnarled and twisted branches that weave in and out of each other. This series of paintings is a celebration of the interconnectedness of humans and nature.
